The supermarket is just a minute’s walk from your new home, where you can find baguette, fresh bakery items, bread and a little café, all everyday essentials.

In Nauders there are many suppliers of skis, shoes, hiking and a variety of outdoor equipment, so if you do not arrive here in the mountains fully equipped, various options are available. The sports shop “Sportalm Wassermann” is operated by a good friend of the house who is always happy to provide qualified expert advice. The shop is a five-minute walk away and you can call in at the café next door with its delicious coffee and tasty cake and tarts.

If you arrive by bus, there are two bus stops right near the house. In winter, it is only a two-minute walk along a flat road to the ski bus, which takes you at 10-minute intervals to the valley station of the Nauders cable cars

If there is enough snow in winter, our guests and also we winter sports enthusiasts can enjoy the possibility of “ski in”. Along a prepared trail, you can ski down the valley to the so-called “ski meadow”, also called “Gurdanatsch”, clip off your skis, cross the road and there you are in front of Haus Arnika.

The location of our house is made even more special due to the breathtaking view of our Nauders landmark, Naudersberg Castle, with a view behind it of the mountains around Bergkastel. The castle is a couple of minutes’ walk away and if you are interested, guided museum tours are available on some days.

Our breakfast rolls are brought fresh daily from the baker. Those who call one of our holiday apartments their home can order any kind of bakery items on request or take a leisurely five-minute stroll in the morning into the village and bring back deliciously wafting breakfast bakery items.

Good food is of course part of a wonderful holiday. In Nauders, practically everything is within walking distance. In the centre, which is about three minutes away depending how fast you walk, there are restaurants, guesthouses and hotels that also offer a-la-carte menus. Those who want to make themselves comfortable here can simply order something from the delivery service. We would be happy to provide advice and to assist.
